Creating a Service Request (Boombirds for Field Services)

Configure a new service request workflow on Boombirds for Field Services

Once you have configured your workspace and teams, you can now create your first service request workflow on Boombirds. Follow the steps mentioned in the video below to start building your first service request type:

In summary,

Choose the ‘Services’ option from the ‘Configure’ Menu

Click on the ‘Plus’ symbol on the bottom right of the page

Select the ‘Office Operations with Field Services’ option under the ‘Configure This Service To Manage’ section in the ‘Details’ tab

Choose whether you would like to tag the service with a payout and enable photologs, select the options under ‘Trip Preferences’

Configure the service request form in the next tab

Specify who can work on the service request, assign vehicles, select the team that the service is assigned to by default, and create rules under the ‘Permissions’ tab

Create the workflow for the service request under the ‘Workflow’ tab. Publish your service request in the next tab and it will be added to the list of services under the ‘Services’ section
