Creating a Service Request (for Business Services)

Set up a new service request workflow on Boombirds for Business Services

Once you have configured your workspace and teams, you can now create your first service request workflow on Boombirds. Follow the steps mentioned in the video below to start curating your first service request on Boombirds for Business Services:

In summary,

Choose the ‘Services’ option from the ‘Configure’ Menu

Click on the ‘Plus’ symbol on the bottom right of the page

Select ‘Yes’ under the dropdown ‘Does the Service Type Link to a Customer or Not?’ to ensure that each service type is compulsorily linked to a customer

Configure the service request form in the next tab

Specify who can work on the service request, select the team that the service is assigned to by default, and create rules under the ‘Permissions’ tab

Create the workflow for the service request under the ‘Workflow’ tab

Publish your service request configuration and it will be added to the list of services under the ‘Services’ section
