This release comes with handy, user-friendly enhancements that’ll help you work smarter:

1. Convert checklists into actionable tasks:

  • Ensure your teams stay on top of their processes by allocating multiple checklists into sub-tasks to be handled by a specific team member

  • Allow your teams to include ad-hoc checklists to a task and track individual checklist completions with timestamped user activity logs 

2. Boombirds at your service – quite literally 😊

  • Need on-boarding assistance, or help with using a feature or functionality? Get instant help from the Boombirds support team with the click of the ‘Grant Access’ button on your workspace profile page! We’re always ready!

3. Mapping customer address locations

  • We’ve added a new address field to the customer creation form - you can now add up to ten address locations for your customers

  • This makes assigning common locations for your customers hassle free as you create new requests. 

4. Automate? Well, it’s automate and auto-generate!

  • Simply take advantage of this quick toggle option so your consignment/service IDs are automatically generated

  • IDs are auto-generated sequentially for easy tracking and monitoring

5. Better client management

  • Now channel administrators will be able to help clients in upgrading to new Boombirds solution types instantly – here’s to more efficient client management!

This article highlights the most important aspects of this release - a host of other improvements and fixes were also done, that would greatly enhance user experience! Here you go:

a. To help logistics operations/service management teams to end trips at the back end after all its consignments were delivered, the option of 'Force end' was introduced.

b. You can now change a mailbox or de-link it from Boombirds using the 'Delink mailbox' feature. If a mailbox is delinked, status updates to clients can no longer be sent from that mailbox.

c. For better usability of the retail logistics and field services solutions, the 'Consignment details' section was added to the service request form, while the 'pickup' location field was removed from the consignment/service planning section.
