The Trip Dashboard is designed to provide you an overview of your entire fleets movement at any given time. If you need to drill down to find a particular vehicle or consignment, the driver details, or if there is need to change the route on the fly, or assign a new driver in the middle of the trip, we have got you covered and much more.... Let's see how to go about it.
In summary,
Click on the Trip Dashboard to view all your trips in the three stages.
By Default, you will see My Trips tab.
βPending - Trips that have been assigned to the driver but the driver has not yet started the trip.
βActive - These are the live trips that are going on.
βCompleted - The trips that have been successfully completed.
Click on the Live Trips tab to get the real-time location of your entire fleet in transit on a map.
To get more information about a particular trip, you can click on View Trip Details.
Boombirds supports multiple consignment tracking under a single trip with multiple pickup and drop points. By default you are brought to the Overview tab.
This will show you the list of pickup and drop points for the entire trip. You can also switch to map view by clicking the Map icon on the top right.
Note: The points are shown in a straight line and not the optimal route to be taken. Once the driver begins their trip the Google Maps integration will guide the driver accordingly.
To change the delivery route and send the updated route plan to the driver, click on Route Plan.Β
Here you can drag and drop the order in which you want the pick and drop to happen based on your priority. Once you have completed the re-ordering this updated route plan will be automatically sent to the driver.
Under the Consignment tab, you will be able to view the consignments that you are delivering in this particular trip.
Under Earnings tab you will see the amount of incentive that is paid to the driver.
You change the driver or vehicle for this particular delivery by clicking the Change Delivery Team .
