Administrators have the rights to change critical areas of your Network setup.
In most cases, the changes done by the Administrators are irreversible. So please make sure that, your Administrators are sure before they make any changes in the configuration.
To add new Administrators to your network click on Manage Users from the main menu.
Once you are in the Manage Users page, navigate to the Administrators section.
This page will list down all the existing Administrators for your network.
Note: All administrators need not have the same level of permission
Click on the Plus (+) Button to add new Employees or promote existing Employees to become Administrators.
For users, who don't already have an Account in Boombirds and you want them to be added as an Administrator, click on New User.
You need to input their Name, Mobile Number and Email and click Next. This information is used to create an account for the user in Boombirds.
The second page is where you define the rights for this particular user. As mentioned above, all Administrators need not have the same level of permission. You can have Administrators who manage only your configuration, others manage Operations, and some others manage your Customers. (It's at the discretion of the Network Owner)
From this screen, you can toggle the appropriate permission required for this user and either default all of the underlying permissions or manually select and de-select each.
Let us see what each of the permissions give the user access to:
Network Configuration:
Configure User Permission - With this permission you can create new roles.
Configure User Details - You can add new fields to the Workforce (Employee) and Customer forms, which are used to maintain the customer profile and determine which fields are visible to the Employees and which are private and create auto-generate id for your Employees and Customers.
Configure Services - With this you can create new Service Templates for the Services you are offering, you can also edit the workflows (e.g. configure which teams will work on this step, add checklist and forms and all the configuration related activities for the templates).
Network Management:
Add & Manage Workforce - You can add new Employees or remove existing ones, resend or cancel invites
Add & Manage Customers - With this you add and manage customer profiles. Edit the existing customer details and remove them if necessary.
Add & Manage Groups - You can add new teams and add members to those teams as well. And you can also remove members from teams or even delete the whole team.
User Engagement Policy:
Post Across All Groups - You can post in the wallboard to both Employees and Customers.
Post with Private Analytics - The analytics report will be visible only to you, engagement generated through the post will be made private so that others cannot view it.
View Post analytics across all groups - With this if someone from you team posts, you will be able to view the analytics report, if they have enabled analytics in their post.
Operations Management Policy:
View & Manage all Service Requests - With this you will be able to view all the tasks/jobs created in the organization and see at which stage they are in. You can still only change the assignee or complete the tasks depending on your individual rights. This however grants you view access to everything.
Create any service Request for any Customer - You can create any request on behalf of your Customer and assign it to a particular team.
View all historical reports - Boombirds offers you a wide variety of reports, only users with permission can access those reports.
Manage inbound queue - Boombirds makes managing your emails a breeze with its connected email box feature. You can set up rules to automatically create tasks based on emails from your customers. This feature can be accessed by enabling this permission for this user.
If you wish you promote any of your existing Employees to Administrator level, you can choose the Add from Existing Workforce option, after clicking the Plus (+) button.
This will show you the list of Employees who are not Administrators and from this list you can choose them and click Next.
Finally click Submit to save the Administrator and their permissions.
Click here to view Administrators in your organisation.
