This feature helps you to see the overall workflow as a process flowchart. Process map is the planning and management tool that visually describes the flow of work. It visually depicts process steps and shows how a process should function from start to finish. With this feature, the service processes are laid out visually so every stakeholder in your organization can understand and adhere to proper functioning.
You can find process map at three places in your Boombirds network.
1. Service Request (SR)
When you work on a SR, you can find the process map next to the SR number. It is represented by three overlapping circles. The process map provides clarity over the current state of your process.
2. Configure > Service List
You can also find the process map in the service list. Here you can review the work flow process using the process map before you make changes to the service template.
3. Cloning/ Importing template
You can view the process map before importing/ cloning an existing template into the network.
This flowchart not only gives you a quick glance of the overall picture, it also helps you to view the main flow, alternate paths, checklists and the configuration preferences that pertain to each workflow. The user need not go to the configuration to view these details.
